Since 1979 US Health for Homecare has provided quality respiratory, oxygen and durable medical equipment to central Georgia and Metropolitan Atlanta. Centrally located, US Health for Homecare is just minutes from patients and major referral centers. All of our services are provided exclusively on the order of a licensed physician.

US Health is a Medicare and Georgia Medicaid/Peachcare for Kids providers and we diligently pursues HMO and PPO participation.  We are a preferred provider for many healthcare plans. Participation in PPO plans makes our services available to over a thousand employers. US Health is also a member of the Extended Care Network, which is a on-line referral service provided to hospitals and other agencies. Extended Care Network, allows referral professionals to order equipment and services from US Health over the Internet.

Your health care information is never given out to anyone without your permission. US Health is compliant with the Health Insurance Accountablity and Portablity Act of 1996. The information you give to us is used only as appropriate to file claims on your behalf or to discuss your condition with your physician’s office.

US Health for Homcare provides a wide range of durable medical equipment and specializes in respiratory homecare. US Health for Homecare is owned and managed by a Registered Respiratory Therapist licensed by the Georgia Composite State Board of Medical Examiners. Patients are closely followed by our therapist. US Health for Homecare uses state of the art oxygen, nebulizer and portable oxygen systems. Our oxygen concentrators delivers around the clock oxygen to patients requiring oxygen therapy. Lightweight very portable oxygen systems insure that patients are not confined to the home. We are on call 24 hours a day to service our patients.

US Health has many years experience treating sleep apnea, a condition that interrupts sleep and causes many symptoms, such as daytime sleepiness, cognitive disorders, fatigue and serious conditions such as high blood pressure and heart conditions. We have many difference appliances that treat sleep apnea. One device is the Nasal CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) mask, that covers the nose delivering gentle continuous pressure to keeps airways continuously open during sleep, which treats the apnea condition. Only your sleep lab and physician can determine if you have sleep apnea, so if you think you have a sleep disorder please contact your physician. As Americans age getting around can be a challenge for some older people, so US Health has many power operated vehicles such as scooters and electric wheelchairs. US Health only sells scooters and wheelchairs that we can obtains parts easily for. Most of our chairs come from Invacare or Sun Rise Medical. These companies provide quality chairs and stock parts that can be obtained in 1 to 2 business days. Most healthcare plans pay for power operated vehicles. US Health will make a home visit to make sure that the vehicle can navigate freely with in your home. Medicare requires that you be able to operate the controls and that you can use the vehicle freely with in your home. Medicare will not pay for power operated vehicles that are only used outside the home.
