Duramax Hospice Agency Software

The Duramax hospice agency software adds hospice agency features to the Duramax medical billing system

  • electronic claims
  • clinical record keeping,
  • electronic charts,
  • including, plan of care, work sheets,
  • physician/paramedical directives
  • nurse or practitioner notes,
  • laboratory tests,
  • medications list,
  • respiratory and physical therapy notes
  • Tightly integrated with the Duramax medical billing software, employee (nurse) scheduling and assignment features are included.

    The agency software adds to Duramax such features as employee assignment and notes printing, scheduling calendar worksheet printing, employee files where practitioner information is maintained.

    Essential to home health billing the patient care plan feature allows the users to customize the wording of medical descriptions. These custom descriptions are made available to the user, when entering plan of care. This saves time. A plan of care worksheet is available for printing that contains all descriptions associated with a section. The nurse, during patient assessment, can check descriptions to include when entering worksheet responses.

    Scheduling includes a schedule record where start dates, through dates, time to start and hours-required are entered. Once a schedule is entered then employees can be assigned to the schedule. Hours already schedule for a particular employee for the current work period are displayed on the screen. This facilitates the ease of nurse assignment. Before a new work period is established, all assignments are processed. This creates an order with a detailed itemized schedule showing, hours worked, and employees name that will bill appropriately during normal Duramax order processing. Once the order has been passed to Duramax’s main medical billing system billing proceeds exactly as with any other Duramax claim.
