Implementation of the 5010 version will take place in the 2012 or later if delayed. Softcare is committed to providing utilities that produce the 5010 version file formats. The 5010 is a smaller subset of the 4010A. Many of the segments and code values that you find in the 4010A version have been removed in 5010 and a few new loops, segments and code values have been added. Ansix has a feature that allows a program to construct a non-defined segment. If you need to create a segment not present in the 4010A version you can do that. Softcare will release 5010 later this year. Let us know if you are interested in receiving a beta for testing.
